Join us for a delicious, dramatic and memorable evening of flamenco and tapas in Barcelona! On our four hour Barcelona Tapas and Flamenco Tour, you’ll discover one of Barcelona’s hidden flamenco tablaos, and taste some of the best tapas and Catalan dishes this city has to offer!
Flamenco may hail from the south of Spain, but that doesn’t mean the passionate song and dance can’t be found in Barcelona, if you know where to look! On this tour, you'll dive deep into the authentic side of Barcelona, and you’ll also gain a new-found appreciation of the mysterious artform of flamenco. Get to know how flamenco fits into Barcelona’s story, and in the meantime, taste and discover the truly authentic cuisine of of our city.
Your expert guide will meet you in front of the beautiful Santa Maria del Mar Basilica, before whisking you off for a traditional aperitif in a wonderful and locally-loved neighborhood tavern. Over sweet red Spanish vermouth and traditional tapas, your guide will give you a crash course in Barcelona’s tapas scene, as well as a fascinating introduction to the mysterious story behind flamenco. All your questions will be answered… Where it comes from, what they’re singing about, how it fits into Spanish culture today and more.
Armed with this knowledge, your guide will lead you to a hidden flamenco venue, housed in a gorgeous 17th century palace and nearly hidden from plain sight. There, you will sit down to an intimate show and experience firsthand the passion of talented local artists.
After the performance, the group will stretch their legs and head to one of the city’s most magical wine bars, tucked away in the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. After some light tapas and second aperitif, you will be lead just a short stroll away to a hidden tapas restaurant, a secret gem amongst locals. There, you'll sit down for traditional Catalan tapas, wine, and of course dessert! Discover the authentic flavors of this region of Spain, and soak up the history all around you.
