Since we have been to Barcelona several times, we decided to get out of the city and experience more of the local culture. Of all the wonderful things we did on our 17 day adventure, this tour was truly the highlight. Enrique, our guide, was FANTASTIC! The day was so lovely and interesting. So interesting and great to feel immersed in the Catalan culture. Our day was topped off with a delicious farm to table lunch. Oh my gosh, everything was so fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend Devour tours to anyone traveling to Barcelona, Seville, Madrid or what have you. Thank you, Enrique, for giving us a day we will never forget.
Everything about our day was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Jaume, was so friendly and funny and very well informed...3rd generation Catalan native. We met Jaume and then hopped on a bus and took a short ride to the town of Alella. We learned how to drink wine from a Porron at the bodega. Next, we visited Alta Alella winery where we learned about the history and the types of wine they make. The views were breathtaking and the wine was nothing short of delicious! We finished our day with an authentic Catalan meal! It was all so delicious and worth every penny.
