Join us for food and culture on our Devour Barcelona Food Tours!

After months of hard work, we are happy to share that we successfully ran two trial tours last weekend, with two more to come this week. In September we will be running a few tours at a discount for our first week in business (follow us on Facebook for sign ups for these deeply discounted starter tours!) and then we are ready for business starting the second week of September. If you’ll be visiting Barcelona from September on, you’re in luck! We’ll be running tours most Tuesdays to Saturdays and would love to have you along. You can book your tour here.

Why Devour Barcelona?

We truly believe we are offering something special here in Barcelona. Our tours are really thought out to give you the best Barcelona food experience possible– each and every thing you eat has a reason, and every stop has a story and passion. We highlight local, family-run businesses (actually, we only work with local businesses on our tours) and delicious regional foods. You won’t be trying Galician octopus or Andalusian gazpacho on our Barcelona food tour. Although we LOVE those foods (and can tell you great places to try them) we want to give our visitors a glimpse into real Catalan cuisine.

I think we’ve done our job, as our tour in the traditional and bohemian Gràcia neighborhood will have you trying everything from Albina’s delicious Catalan sausage sandwich (with roasted green peppers and homemade alioli– hand mashed in a mortar and pestle!), to what our local friends have called the best variation on a crema Catalana (similar to creme brûlée) that they’ve ever tried. Altogether, our tour promises over 12 tastings, but we’re even more excited to show you the local businesses that make the food!

Pedro and Albina, two of our local business owners!

If you’re looking for reviews, check out our reputation in Madrid. We’ve been consistently ranked in the top 10 things to do in Madrid for the past two years, and have spent over 8 months at the #1 position! We always do our best and have brought that attitude with us here to Barcelona.

With that said, we are excited to present some pictures from our trial tours. To everyone who joined us, thanks for coming along!
